Commendable Achievement of TES in 2020‑2021
M/s TATA Steel Ltd, Jamshedpur has 8MW TRT turbine at G-blast unit, SHAANGU, CHINA make. The turbine had a breakdown & after opening of turbine severe damages like erosion of moving blades, stator blades, carrier body, rotor front & rear drums, sealing fins, carbon gland body, sealing sleeves, oil glands etc., were observed.
TATA Steel placed order on M/s. Turbo Engineering Services for repair of rotor, stator and manufacturing of blades & other spares as required including reassembly and commissioning of the TG set.
